New Season, New Team!

Can you believe regular season baseball is right around the corner?!

Opening day is later this month, and here is what I know so far about the Orioles 2019 team!

- We still have some faces on this team that we know, and love, like Trey Mancini, Mark Trumbo, Chris Davis, Alex Cobb, and others.

- We have many new faces on the Orioles too, like Yusniel Diaz, an exciting prospect the Orioles got from the Dodgers, when they traded Manny Machado last year.

- I am very excited for this season, I can't wait to watch and learn more about all the new players throughout the season.

- On the active roster, there are many players who play shortstop to replace Manny Machado (who now plays on the San Diego Padres.)

- Brandon Hyde, the Orioles new manager, already has managing experience. Hype has managed a Minor League Baseball Team, the Greensboro Grasshoppers. Hyde knows the game well, he was a catcher in the Minor Leagues. He even made it to Triple-A Charlotte. Brandon Hype also was the first base coach for the Cubs in 2016 when they won the World Series, he's already got a ring!

- I am expecting the Orioles to do pretty well this season since the new manager has good experience in baseball
