Today I was back at Orioles Spring Training in Sarasota, Florida. When we first got there, Manny Machado and Jonathan Schoop started to play catch on one of the practice fields, right behind the stadium. Assistant Coach Bobby Dickerson and Wayne Kirby were hitting grounders to Manny and Jonathan. Sometimes, Jonathan and Manny would stay on their knees to field the balls.

Some fans started watching practice too. A couple people were shouting Manny's name from the other side of the fence. A few of Jonathan's friends were there to watch as well. Manny and Jonathan showed up before the first full-squad workout, as only pitchers and catchers were practicing today. The first full-squad workout is tomorrow (Monday.)

A little later, Jonathan and Manny started grounding the baseballs at short stop, then Jonathan moved back to his regular position, 2nd base. Although they missed a few, the guys did very well and fielded the balls cleanly. The two coaches told them that they need "good habits this spring." He pretty much means, you need to play how you play and not start any bad habits.

Soon, Manny and Jonathan finished practicing and started talking to the coaches for a long time. Then the two players went back inside to the clubhouse.

Later, Chris Davis walked out with a football and started playing catch with some of the Orioles staff. Chris Davis had a very exciting off-season. He and his wife had twins, two girls named Evie and Grace! How cute! Chris Davis also grew a mustache. Chris threw a few perfect spirals and could be a quarterback!!

Lastly, I got to interview and meet a really cool guy named Dick Passwater. He has a blog called, Orioles Hangout! You can check it out by clicking here. I will be having a post about him coming soon, so please stay tuned!

I had an amazing day today and I will be back at camp tomorrow too! I will have many posts coming out soon! Thanks for reading this post, and I have a new Player of the Month. This player is born in Nashville and wears a number in the 30's. To find out who it is, please check out the post! Have a spectacular Sunday!! Go Orioles!!
