Today, I got to go to the KidsPeace Trick or Trot 5k/1 mile race. It was a blast, I am so excited that I went! Everyone had such great costumes. I liked the "A League of Their Own" group! They looked amazing! KidsPeace is a organization that helps children in foster care. The money raised from the annual race benefits them.

On Friday, the Orioles had the pre-race party for all participants of the Trick or Trot race. I got to talk with Buck Showalter and his wife Angela! The pre-party was at Dempsey's. You can watch the interview below.
Today was really awesome! Buck and Angela spoke along with some other people. Roch Kubatko of MASN even dressed up as Wonder Woman. I really liked how at the end of the race Buck and Angela did the award ceremony on top of the Orioles dugout!

Buck was very funny when he talked. He joked "If someone is a left handed starting pitcher, come see me."
I talked to a participant of the race, Tom Branthover, a Kappa Sigma fraternity brother at Towson University. His favorite part of the race was, "everyone getting together, having a good time, people dress up. It's really fun, and it's for a great cause so that's why I keep coming out here every year." The cause is important to Tom "it's all for the kids," Tom told me. Tom has come to the Trick or Trot for 4 years.

At the end of the race and award ceremony, my teammate Hannah and I got to go on the field and say hi to Buck and Angela again. The dugout was amazing!

Here is a slide show of some of the costumes!
Thanks so much for reading this post, thank you to all of the Orioles! I had a blast and I will be going next year! Have an awesome day!
