Hello! As many of you know, the Baltimore Orioles finished their season today. They played against the Rays and lost 6-0. They finished their season 75-87. Unfortunately, the Orioles didn't make it to the postseason. But this season still had some fantastic things. Camden Yards celebrated its 25th Anniversary, the 2,500th home run at Camden Yards was hit, and the Orioles 10,000th regular season home run was hit. Let's look at a few of the awesome things that happened this season.

April 3: Orioles Opening Day - against the Blue Jays - the O's won with a walk-off home run!

June 15: Orioles launch "Have a Catch" Campaign - encourages everyone to go outside and play catch

July 13: "Crush's Homers for Hearts" - HR Derby for Children's Hospital

July 19: Orioles host second "Birdland Social" - with Roch Kubatko and Trey Mancini

July 19: Orioles announce Orioles 10,000 home run contest

July 24: Jonathan Schoop named AL Player of the Week - he was on his way to an amazing season!

July 31: Orioles acquire SS Tim Beckham from Rays

August 3: Tim Beckham hit the club's 2,500th home run at Camden Yards

August 5: Chris and Jill Davis host Casey Cares 5k walk/run

August 5: Tim Beckham hits Orioles 10,000th regular season home run

August 7: Tim Beckham named AL Player of the Week

August 21: Manny Machado named AL Player of the Week

August 22: Orioles Pet Calendar went on sale (you can still buy one by clicking here) - I got one for my birthday and I love it!

August 25-27: Players Weekend - They wore Little League inspired jerseys

September 3: Manny Machado named AL Player of the Month

September 5: Chris Davis nominated for Roberto Clemente award

September 22: Jonathan Schoop named 2017 Orioles most valuable player

October 28: (COMING SOON) Orioles Trick-or-Trot 5k/1 mile walk - I can't wait for this event!

This has been a fun season for the Orioles! I can't wait until next season!

I am really going to miss watching the Orioles. Well we only have to wait 179 days until regular season baseball is back on. The first game for the 2018 Baltimore Orioles is Thursday, March 29, 2018 when the O's host the Twins.
