'It's awesome, I can't wait': Manny talked to me about his newest team

It's going to be weird seeing Manny Machado in a different uniform. The World Baseball Classic has just started. When I saw which players got on team U.S.A. I was a little sad when Manny Machado was not on the roster. But Manny is playing in the World Baseball Classic - just not for team U.S.A. Manny is going to play for the Dominican Republic. The Dominican Republic is going to play the Orioles today!
I talked with Manny about the World Baseball Classic (WBC). "It's awesome, I can't wait." Manny also said "I am training to play short at the WBC". I asked Manny if he was excited to play against the Orioles. Manny answered "I told a couple guys I might hit a home run off of them!" I asked are they (the pitchers) scared? He answered "No...they kind of want me to strike out".
